Work Experience – Term 2, Week 9
All Year 10 students are encouraged to take part in Work Experience, which will be held in Week 9 of Term 2.
Work Experience is a valuable opportunity for students to explore different careers, gain real-world skills, and start building confidence in the workplace. We strongly encourage every student to get involved and make the most of this chance to learn outside the classroom.
Please begin discussing possible work experience opportunities with your child in Year 10. Talk about the types of jobs or industries they may be interested in exploring, and encourage them to start thinking about where they would like to complete their placement.
We also recommend reaching out to potential employers early, as many businesses require time to organise and prepare for a work experience student.
Scholarships AKA Free Money
Scholarships are a fantastic way to support your future study, but strong applications don’t happen at the last minute. To stand out, students should start preparing early and think about what makes them a well-rounded candidate.

- Take on leadership roles (SRC, school captaincy, mentoring younger students)
