Saturday Sport Off to a Good Start!

On Saturday 7 February, the Senior School girls kicked off their first round of Saturday sport. I was able to head to Longueville for Tennis before travelling to Loreto Normanhurst for Water Polo.

Kambala 2 and Kambala 4 competed in Tennis at Longueville, and both teams had great matches. Despite the extremely hot conditions even at 7.30am, the girls performed exceptionally well. Congratulations on a strong Round 1 effort!

The Kambala 4 Water Polo team is my Team of the Week. This Year 7 and 8 team included five girls playing their very first game of water polo. The team faced some challenges during the week, with two player withdrawals and one player unwell, meaning they played the entire match with no substitutions. Their effort was outstanding. They stayed goal for goal with Loreto for most of the game, and while fatigue set in towards the end, they only went down by four goals.

A special mention goes to Jasmine for her strong leadership and to Luella, who scored an impressive seven goals in her first ever game.
