A.P.S Swimming Carnival 2026
Wednesday 11th February @ Fitzroy Swimming Pool
| To support the Health & Physical Education program at APS, students in Years 3-6 will be participating in a swimming carnival.
On the day students will compete in their house groups, with a focus on fun and participation. It is also a pathway for keen swimmers to trial for the District Swimming Team. There will be freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly events for each year level. Students choose which they would like to compete in.
There will also be water games and relays in the shallow pool for those students who cannot swim 50m.

A call out to Parent Helpers:
Parent helpers are vital in the success of school events such as this. If you are available to help out at the swimming carnival please contact me via email natalie.ognenis@education.vic.gov.au . All helpers must have a current working with children check and sign a copy of the 2026 Child Safe Standards, which can be found at the Office.
