Principal's Message

Dear Families, Students, and Staff,

As we come to the close of another wonderful school year, I want to take a moment to congratulate all our students on their fantastic achievements, which were celebrated at our recent Annual Presentation Day and School Concert. Our students' hard work and dedication truly shone through, and we are incredibly proud of each and every one of you.

A special thank you to our Year 6 students for demonstrating such a high level of respect and responsibility throughout the year. We wish them all the very best as they transition to High School— they are ready to take on this new chapter with confidence and enthusiasm.

Congratulations also to our new school leaders—Jasmine, Spencer, Xanadu, and Elliott. We look forward to seeing your leadership make a positive impact in our school community in 2026.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all students, staff, and families for contributing to a fantastic year together. Your support and commitment make our Goulburn Public School a truly special place.

I also want to acknowledge and thank our temporary teachers, Mrs McPherson and Mr Goodhill, who have been a great asset to our school on 4/5 Poidevin this year. We hope to see them in a casual capacity in 2026.

We say a fond farewell to our General Assistant Neville, who has retired after years of dedicated service. Thank you, Neville, for all your hard work. We also extend our appreciation to Jason, who stepped in to maintain the school grounds during Neville’s leave. Thank you, Jason.

Please remember that Semester 2 reports were distributed on Friday. For students not at school, the reports have been posted home. These reports also provide information about your child’s classroom teacher (s) for 2026.

I encourage everyone to have a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable holiday break. We look forward to welcoming all students back on Monday, 2nd February 2026. To kick off the new year, we will be hosting a Welcome Back to School BBQ on Wednesday, 4th February, from 4 pm—I hope to see many of you there!
