Our Inquiry topic this term focuses on the essential question 'What is the impact of heating and cooling on the states of matter?' Some of the key concepts we will cover will include learning about how humans have been able to control and manipulate their environment and conditions. We will learn about the properties of liquids, solids and gases and how we can change states of matter by heating and cooling substances. We will also be conducting experiments to help better understand the effects of heat on liquids and solids.
