Instrumental Lessons

A few reminders for students regarding instrumental lessons:

• Please check your lesson times carefully each week, and again the day before the lesson. Write yourself a reminder if you need it so you remember to attend (or if you use a BYOD, set a reminder using a calendar app such as Outlook).
• If you will miss a lesson please see your teacher or send your teacher an e-mail in advance. In some cases, the lesson time may be able to be re-arranged but this is not always possible.
• Please ensure you complete regular practice as advised by your teacher. Some teachers will write practice requirements in the Compass lesson plan, so please check this.

Junior and Intermediate Concert 2023

Our final concert of the year, the Junior & Intermediate Concert is coming up soon, on Thursday November 2nd. This will involve mainly involve our junior & intermediate groups:

• Nouveau Strings
• Junior Concert Band
• Intermediate Strings
• Intermediate Concert Band
• Rhythm Riders

We will also hear from our Harmonix choir and enjoy some solos, duets and small groups from our junior and intermediate students.

Tickets will be advertised through Compass newsfeed and more details on student requirements will be communicated via a Compass event.

Renewal Forms for 2024

Renewal forms for 2024 have been e-mailed this week, and students will receive hard copies in their lessons this week or next (depending on their lesson day). Please follow the instructions carefully so that we can plan appropriately for next year, including knowing how many places we have for new students.

For new enrolments, the information booklet will be coming out in the next week or two, via Compass.
