Year 3 Wombat Corner Day Camp
Our year 3 students within a beautiful bush setting will be engaging in a range of outdoor activities including flying fox and archery for their Year 3 camp day. We hope they are excited for the adventure ahead next week. Details of the camp are outlined below.
Campsite Venue: Wombat Corner Camp, 62 Emerald Lake Rd, Emerald VIC

Date of the Camp: Wednesday 11th October
Depart from St Simon's: 8:00am. We ask all Year 3 students to be at school by 7:45am.
Upon arrival, students will meet on the steps of the basketball courts. If you are late to drop off your child, please contact the school immediately. In the event of rain in the morning, students will meet in the atrium.
Return to School: 3:30pm dependent on traffic. Buses will arrive back from the campsite on the basketball courts. Students with their classroom teacher will usher students to their parents to be picked up.
What Your Child Needs to Bring:
Students can wear casual clothes that are suitable for the weather on the camp day. We ask all students to wear sturdy shoes for the activities on the day. On this day camp, students are required to pack in a small backpack:
- morning snack
- lunch,
- 2 or 3 filled up water bottles
- suitable hat
- sunscreen
- sunglasses (optional)
- raincoat/warm Jacket in the event the weather changes
No Food products with NUTS are to be packed. All medication including asthma puffers and epipens that has been provided to the school office with permission will be taken on the camp.
