AUTISM INCLUSION TEACHER

Happy holidays…

This term I’ve really enjoyed connecting with many of you, especially being able to have more in-depth conversations with the parents who attended the session last Wednesday. Whilst my focus is on neurodivergence (Autism, ADHD, PDA, ODD, dyslexia etc) the session that I ran, and will continue to do so in the coming term, is not only for parents/ carers of neurodivergent young people, but for everyone. Sharing knowledge and understanding brings our school community together.

Below is a handout that was given out at the parent session. It’s a brief overview of the work I’ve been doing as the Autism Inclusion Teacher, our focus as a site and where we are heading.
