Socktober

All of the students from P-6 gathered in the MPR to show off their crazy socks. The children then listened to the Year 3's present some information about Socktober.

What is Socktober?

Socktober is a program exclusively run by the Catholic Mission, to raise funds for programs benefiting children around the world.

Our school will be dedicating our money raised today to the children of Timor Leste.

Where is Timor Leste?

Timor-Leste is located in Southeast Asia, on the southernmost edge of Indonesia, northwest of Australia; Dili is the capital city. Students in Year 3 also made Socktober soccer balls made from recycled items to donate to each of the classes.

Finally, all grades got to parade with their classmates showing off their crazy socks. Well done everyone supporting such a wonderful cause!
