Resource Centre

Years 7, 8, and 9 students started the Term with visits to the Resource Centre to exchange and extend their books and to stay for their reading lessons. They were able to select from a large display of new books across a wide range of genres for both fiction and non-fiction including First Nations stories, biographies, autobiographies, fantasy, adventure, war stories, avatar, fishing, sports including football (AFL, AFLW), tennis, athletics, graphic novels, romance and crime fiction. Many of these books were quickly borrowed and more new books have taken their place.

Overdue notices will again be sent to both parents and students for those books students have borrowed and are now overdue. Students have the opportunity to extend the time on their books if they have not yet finished reading them or return them. We would rather have the books returned rather than have to generate invoices for the cost of the book/s for parents/guardians to pay for the replacement of non-returned books. Books must be returned in good order otherwise the cost of replacement will be applied.

I would like to thank all students and parents/guardians who support the Resource Centre by having books returned on time and in good order.
