Mr Irwin's Message
Hello families and welcome to this week’s newsletter.
Hello families and welcome to this week‘s newsletter. I hope you can join us for Friday afternoons SWAG assembly where we celebrate students who've had amazing growth in Literacy and Numeracy over term. Term three has been busy with learning and our students are ready for a well-earned rest, I hope you get the opportunity over the school holidays to enjoy some family activities and recharge your batteries.
Over the course of this week, each sub school is having an end of term Fun day as recognition for the hard work and effort of students. Students will be participating in activities such as heading to Turtle Bend and watching class movies. At the end of term four Fun days will hopefully be an out of school excursion.
School Holiday Access of School Grounds
Over the holidays if you do visit the school grounds, a reminder that it is a requirement for children to be supervised by an adult when visiting. This is to ensure that our grounds remain looked after and we don’t experience damage or any issues that we need to fix. We have some exciting projects coming up in our school grounds over the next few months, including installing our shade sails, resurfacing our sports courts and also installing a new sports shed. By the time these works take place we want to install the habit in our community at the school grounds are not a public place, but a place to come and respectfully use supervised by an adult to be looked after.
2024 Planning
A further reminder as we get to the point of starting to prepare for 2024, that any families who might be giving consideration to changing schools next year to please notify the office. I’ve commenced workforce planning for next year which relies on having as accurate student enrolment numbers as possible.
Have a great rest of the week an enjoyable school holidays, go the Inverleigh Hawks and bye for now!
