Book Week Celebrations

Book Week is a special time of year that celebrates books and reading. This year, primary students participated in a dress-up parade, we held a book fair, and we welcomed a number of guest speakers.

Picture book illustrator Nicky Johnston visited our Early Years students. Our 3-7s enjoyed talks by Katrina Nannestad, and our Year 8s and 9s heard from Emily Gale.

We trust that students enjoyed these visits and were inspired by them. My hope is that they become treasured memories for our students, and that they encourage them to read.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's Book Week celebrations.

School Holiday Reading

We encourage all students to keep reading over the school holidays. In addition to library books, younger students may also enjoy listening to stories being read via Story Box Library. Please email library@pvcc.vic.edu.au if you require access details.

Secondary students can access Wheeler's ePlatform for audiobooks.

Secondary Library

This term, students have had the opportunity to join a book club and/or a writing club. These clubs run during lunchtime on Tuesdays. All students are welcome to join the fun!
