As we begin Term 3, we look forward to a term filled with opportunities for discovery, growth and connection across our College community. Term 3 often brings a strong sense of consolidation and momentum. Routines are established, relationships have deepened, learning has progressed, and the year begins to take clearer shape.
Across the term, students will engage in a wide range of learning experiences, from Year 7 Tarneit students visiting the Mambourin campus to our Prep students celebrating 100 days of school. These moments highlight the joy of learning, belonging and shared experience, and remind us that every child is known, valued and supported as they continue to grow.
Academic and enrichment opportunities will also feature strongly this term, including ICAS Writing and the Prime Minister’s Spelling Bee, encouraging students to challenge themselves, celebrate their strengths and build perseverance.
We also look forward to significant year-level experiences, including Year 5 camp at Sovereign Hill for students from Tarneit and Mambourin, and Year 4 camp at Oasis, Mt Evelyn. These experiences support independence, friendship and learning beyond the classroom.
For our Year 12 students, Trial Exams will be an important time to prepare, reflect and consolidate learning as they continue their final year journey. We wish them every success and encourage them to approach this season with courage, focus and confidence. We are excited to celebrate student learning through the Year 6 PYP Exhibition at Tarneit, as well as the Primary Years Showcase and Year 6 Exhibition at Mambourin. These events provide wonderful opportunities for students to share their creativity, inquiry and learning with the wider community.
As a multi-campus College, Term 3 also provides many opportunities to strengthen our shared identity and connection. We are one College, with common values and a shared commitment to helping students flourish. Our values of Grace, Respect, Integrity and Courage will continue to guide the way we learn, lead, serve and support one another.
From camps and exhibitions to competitions, collaborations and new initiatives, Term 3 will offer many opportunities for students to grow in confidence, contribute meaningfully and strengthen connections across the College.
As the term begins, we encourage every member of our community to embrace new experiences, support one another and find joy in the journey ahead. May this be a term marked by clarity, kindness, courage and good work, as we continue to walk together with hope and purpose.
