CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2025 SPORTS CAPTAINS: Jack Barry & Maisy Tindale
Jack and Maisy will be responsible for reporting the Sports News in my absence each assembly, assist with the general running of the PE and Sports Program, be great role models for our junior students in the way they play sport around the school, represent and lead St Joseph's competitors in many interschool sporting events, while demonstrating outstanding sportsmanship and a positive, encouraging attitude and respect towards all team mates, opposition players and officials.
St Kilda Players Appearance
Following last Wednesday night's FREE St Kilda Clinic offered to our from Prep to Year 6 students, held at Hastings Park, five of the St Kilda Players visited St Joseph's School for a Question & Answer Session and to sign autographs. The students asked many interesting questions about the players pathway to AFL, as well as what a regular day in a life of an AFL player might look like. The players who attended were:
Cooper SHARMAN
Tobie TRAVAGLIA
Arie SCHOENMAKER
Max HEATH
Angus McLENNAN
Hoping you enjoyed your break with your families and are ready for a very busy sporting term of sports!
