School Savings Bonus – Important Update re School Activities Allocations 

Dear Parents/Carers, 

If you are wishing to allocate some or all of your School Saving Bonus (SSB) towards School Activities, (e.g. camps, excursions) in 2025, we advise that this will be a manual two-step process via the Compass system. Compass does not allow you to indicate your choice when applying for the bonus.

1. Nominate via the SSB portal the amount of funds you wish to allocate towards School Activities. (This includes Camps for 2025) 
2. When an event is to occur an email with a form attached for you to complete will be sent to Parent/Family A (as indicated on your child’s enrolment as this is who received the SSB funds) to see if you wish to use your funds and how much. 
3. Complete the attached form and return to our school email address PRIOR to giving consent on compass for the event. This will allow our administration team time to make any necessary financial adjustments. Please note funds can be shared between children in the family.ie: If you have two children and one is going on a camp that is over $400 you can use part of the sibling’s funds.

We appreciate your cooperation and understand the extra paperwork for each event is frustrating. It is very time intensive for us too and we thank you in advance.
