Welcome Back to Term 1!

What a seamless transition we’ve had back into the 5/6 learning space! Over the past week, we’ve re-established our shared beliefs, enjoyed one another’s company, sharing favourite moments from our holidays, and eased our way back into learning.

Despite some major changes to our daily rhythm, our 5/6 learners have embraced them with open-mindedness, adaptability, and a positive attitude—helping me stay optimistic along the way. If you're interested in learning more about these changes, information about Magnify, can be found here.

This week, we dedicated time to writing a personal Acknowledgements to Country for our learning space and explored what we want to represent us as a group.

We’ve challenged ourselves to think critically and creatively through a variety of STEM challenges, pushing the boundaries of our problem-solving skills and encouraging innovative thinking. Throughout these challenges, we’ve explored the importance of our attitudes towards learning, understanding that a positive mindset plays a crucial role in overcoming obstacles. By reflecting on how our attitudes shape our success, we’re developing a greater sense of resilience and determination to tackle future challenges with confidence.

We’ve taken time to reflect on 2024, celebrating our successes and recognising areas for improvement. We’ve identified the lessons we want to carry forward into the new year. Looking ahead to 2025, we’re excited to support and inspire each other as we work towards these aspirations.

We are excited to be back together.

We know we make a great team, and we can’t wait to share our learning journey with you this year! ♡
