3/4 Learning News

What a great start to the year we've had! For those who don't know me, my name is Jacqui and I am the full time teacher in 3/4 this term. You may have seen me floating around the school the last couple of years, particularly leading the students through cooking lessons. I am so excited to be at St Joseph's in a more permanent position this year.  Ebony will also be back more next term and teaching the class a couple of days a week. 

We've had so much happening this term already. We've welcomed Zarah and Hussain to our class and have taught them all about our values at St Joseph's. We also got the sad news that Connor and Jane are leaving our school and have said our farewells to them.

The students are very excited to have started reading our class novel, Matilda by Roald Dahl. A lot of our literacy activities over the next few weeks will revolve around Matilda. I have never seen such keen readers! I look forward to sharing more about our learning and classroom activities over the coming weeks.
