Encore 2025

Congratulations to William Louis who received notification on Wednesday, that he has been selected to perform his original HSC composition ‘Jose Feng Shui’ at Encore. Encore, the HSC Music Showcase, is held in the Concert Hall of the Sydney Opera House in February. This is an outstanding but well deserved achievement.​

Junior Rock Band 

Congratulations to the members of the Junior Rock band : Chloe Stenberg (vocals), Paddy Humby (guitar), Jack Lowe (guitar), Graciella Olmos (bass) and Max Thomas (drum-kit) for their fabulous performance at the Year 7-9 Film festival last Thursday  evening in Cuff  Hall. The band performed  'Smells Like Teen Spirit' by Nirvana and 'Celebrity Skin' by Hole. 

Student Achievements

Congratulations to Simeon Gee (Year 8 ) who has  gained an A+ (Distinction pass ) in his 7th AMEB  Piano For Leisure practical examination. Simeon performed an extensive program, which included Maple Leaf Rag, Tarrantella, Isn’t She Lovely and ‘Rosalina’s Observatory’. 

Congratulations also to Tara Sakata (Year 10) who  gained an A (Honours pass ) in her Grade 5 clarinet repertoire examination. 

Co-curricular Music 

Thank you to all the students who have participated  and performed in the Co-curricular Music Ensembles throughout the year.
