COLOUR RUN - WEDNESDAY 18th!!

We made it to the end of the year! It's time for one last event for the kids!

Ms Hicks will set the challenge with an obstacle course for you to run through and you will get colourful along the way with sprinklings of colour powder! Students will complete the challenge in class groups.

  • Wear white or light clothes (paint powder might stain) dress up if you want!
  • Wear swimming goggles or sunglasses if you are worried about your eyes
  • Pack a towel and a change of clothes
  • Bring a cold coin if you would like to donate - all funds raised will be donated to Bendigo Food share, as decided by the Student Leadership Comittee!
  • Colour powders are non-toxic, non-flammable, environmentally-friendly and skin safe.
  • There may be a nice cool treat at the end.

We are looking for parents to volunteer... you must have a WWCC and be prepared to get a bit colourful too! Please reach out to Jo if you can; 0418125219

Parents & Friends End Of Year Wrap

We've made it through another big year so I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has come along for the ride!

We've put on another successful disco, a family BBQ, working bees, run fundraisers, created school beanies, and we've still got the end-of-year colour fun run celebration to go!  These things could not happen without the generous time and efforts of volunteers and so we thank everyone who has put up their hand to join in or who has got involved with our fundraisers. I want to thank the rest of the P&F committee for their care and dedication, school staff and council members who support and guide our efforts, and students especially those in the SLC who have helped out.

A special thanks goes to our outgoing secretary, Sal Taberner, and outgoing treasurer, Lisa Broadbear.  Sal and Lisa jumped into these roles when we kicked off last year and have been a huge part of what we've achieved.  Sal has been tireless and central in building the group organisationally, volunteered at every event, and phenomenal in her event planning for our discos and more - her care for the school community will be missed almost as much as her dance floor moves at the disco!  Lisa has been a consistent contributor to the school and the P&F; she has helped to set up our understanding of financial processes, volunteered at countless events, and organised and overseen many of our working bees thanks to her regular volunteering to help maintain the school gardens.  Thanks to Sara and Julia who have put up their hands to take on these roles in the new year!

We'd love anyone who wants to get involved to reach out - get in contact or keep an eye on the newsletter page!  Wishing you all a restful holiday.

Jo - Parents & Friends Group President.
