Sending off our Future Leaders

Our Celebration Night on December 4 was once again held at Door of Hope Christian Church, bringing the Launceston Christian School community together to praise God for a wonderful year and to send off our Year 12 leavers.

Head of Secondary Bonnie Armstrong asked the packed audience, and in particular the Year 12 leavers, to recall a time when they have viewed a piece of artwork and asked, 'What does this really mean?' What is the purpose behind it?

"I think, if you really want to understand the true meaning of art, there's a simple answer: Ask the artist," she said.

"Just like that piece of art, each of us is also an inspired creation, crafted by the greatest artist of all time, God... Year 12s, as you step into this next chapter of your life, you will encounter many voices, each one eager to define you. I urge you, listen to your Creator. Draw near to Him. Spend time in His Word, because He is the one who knows you intimately, designed you for a specific purpose and He holds the blueprint for your life."
