Year 9 Food and Fibre Celebrate Cultural Heritage
Our Year 9 Food and Fibre students have been exploring their own and their peers’ cultural heritage throughout the year. As part of this learning, they researched traditional meals and brought them to life in the kitchen!
To top it off, students designed their own aprons to showcase their creativity, and Lars even crafted a chef’s hat. What a fantastic way to put a year’s worth of learning into action—these students did an outstanding job!
🎄 Spreading Christmas Cheer at Balmoral 🎁
Today, Balmoral proudly partnered with Foodbank and the YMCA Breakfast Club to distribute Christmas hampers to some of our families.
Led by Ms Niland, with support from our dedicated staff, this initiative was a wonderful reminder of the power of community and the impact of helping others.

Workshop Club Update ✨🔧
Our Year 7 and 8 students have been busy in Workshop Club, bringing their creativity to life in our bi-weekly sessions. From nesting boxes and trinkets to more elaborate builds, this group is always hands-on and learning new skills.
Right now, they’re crafting Christmas decorations using acrylics and copper — and they look fantastic! A great way to finish the year with creativity, teamwork, and a whole lot of festive spirit.
