Stocktake  

The end of the year is upon us and Library staff are busy completing our annual stocktake. We undertake a stocktake each year to make sure that the books we are supposed to have are actually here and any missing books are identified. All library books are now due back to the library. Please have a conversation with your child/ren and check in with them about anything they may still have out.  

Star Borrowers  

There has been some fantastic borrowing happening in our primary years. Congratulations to Katelyn H who is our top borrower in F-4 with a total of 69 books borrowed this year. Also congratulations to Amelie Z in Year 5 for borrowing 111 books. Year 1AR collectively borrowed the most books this year with a total of 695 loans. Well done everyone and keep up the great reading! 

Scholastic Book Club 

A big thank you to all the families that have supported our Scholastic Book Club this year. We have earned $846.14 in rewards for our College, which has enabled us to buy lots of great new books for everyone to enjoy.  

Happy Holidays 

We hope you have been able to enjoy some reading with your children this year and wish everyone a very happy and safe Christmas. If you are looking for a Christmas book we highly recommend a new title by Australian author Katrina Nannestad and beautifully illustrated by Freya Blackwood. It’s called “A song for the King” and is a lovely animal-centric story of The Nativity.
