Melbourne Victory

The final Melbourne Victory Performance Program session for 2025 offered a wonderful moment to celebrate our participants and reflect on Overnewton’s unique position as Melbourne Victory’s very first Performance School.

Each before-school session delivered a targeted coaching focus and catered for all ability levels, creating an environment that was both inclusive and challenging. With coaches whose experience spans from the A-League to pre-academy pathways, students were exposed to high-quality training, and several were even invited to pre-academy trials and girls’ accelerator programs.

To finish the session, three students Ethan O, Phoebe S, and Lincoln T were recognised for their consistency, effort and development across the year. Each was thrilled to receive an official Melbourne Victory training jersey, generously gifted by the Club.

With the program now expanded to eleven schools and growing, and even more tournaments and experiences planned for 2026, the excitement around what’s next continues to build. The future of football at Overnewton has never looked brighter.
