Week 10, Term 4

REMINDERS 

Please make sure that your child has their sun smart school hat at school each day!

 

We are maintaining regular routines at school as much as possible as we approach the end of the year. We have had a very busy term with excursions, incursions and swimming programs and there is still have much to look forward too! We understand that children may be tired and less resilient than usual, however maintaining a predictable routines promotes a feeling of security which is important for all students.

📖UFLI:

Grade One Students 

This week the Grade One student will finish off their UFLI lessons for the year! Students will be looking at when we add a suffix to word ending in y, we change the y to an i.

Grade Two Students 

Our Grade Two students also finish off their UFLI lessons for the year with a review of all the affixes they have learnt in this unit.

In Literacy, students will continue to read many beautiful Christmas stories and completing a range of literature responses to them. These will include both writing and reading responses. 

 

🔢  Maths 

We will be revising key number skills, including place value, addition and subtraction, and other mathematical concepts - all with a fun Christmas theme.
