Year 11 Camp

Last week, all the Year 11 students finished their school year with an epic 3 days in Melbourne. Chaperoned by Ms Stimson, Ms Adams and Ms Roy, the experience was designed to help students build stronger connections with their peers and staff, and foster a sense of group belonging ahead of their final year. During the camp, students visited a range of tertiary institutions, and explored different accommodation options to help prepare them for life beyond school. There was also the chance to learn how to navigate the city using public transport timetables and maps, eat out and shop. Highlights included indoor rock climbing, laser tag, the Aquarium, and the Road to Zero program at the Museum.
The camp was subsidised by the Rotary Club of Mt Beauty, and we thank them for their continued support of this important event for our students.
