Prep Ambassadors 

Over the last month, our 2026 Prep students have begun their transition sessions to familiarise themselves with our amazing school. 

In this time, Grade 6 students have been so lucky to spend some extra time with our current 2025 Prep buddies, whilst we share a 2-hour block of learning together each fortnight. We’ve loved spending extra time with our Prep buddies, especially while guiding them through fun activities like classifying animals and creating our own lyrebirds - which has definitely been a favourite! 

The Preps have shared their learning with us, talking about their excursion to Healesville Sanctuary, and even teaching us a thing or two. It’s been really nice to see the younger students continue to admire their Grade 6 buddies and feel excited to come up into our classrooms. We enjoy being positive role models, and it’s a great start to the day when they walk in with big smiles. 

These sessions have helped us connect more deeply with our buddies, and we’re looking forward to our final Prep transition session in the coming weeks.
