You can purchase tickets upon boarding the bus. Please note that our buses are cash only and it is preferred to have change close to the ticket price.
Alternatively, we offer prepaid term passes you can purchase from our office in Bathurst Court. You will need to bring a small headshot of the child to go with the pass. If you email the photo, name of your children and the school they attend we can print the photo, create the pass and let you know when the pass is ready to collect save having to wait. These passes are based on the student concession prices; prepaid options are no cheaper than purchasing tickets on the bus however, they are a more convenient options for parents.

We accept payment by cash, cheque or eftpos.
If you choose this option and throughout the Term the child lose their pass, you will be required to come into our office and pay $10.00 for a replacement card and another photo is required to make another pass.

Students at Red Cliffs Secondary College have the opportunity to travel to and from school using a variety of Contract and Public bus services. These services have been set up to ensure that the vast majority of students who need to travel a distance to get to school have access to a service.
Contract bus services are managed by the College, under instruction from the Victorian Department of Infrastructure. Theses runs have been established to provide school runs in areas not covered by public bus services. The College has three contract services:
Public bus services are on routes normally serviced by CDC Mildura. These services can be used by anyone and are administered by CDC Mildura. There are three public bus services that come to the College:
All bus services terminate in the mornings and start in the afternoons at the Bus Shelter at the front of the school. This is where students are to catch/alight from the bus.
Eligibility for Free Travel
Guidelines for free travel for students are stipulated by the Victorian Department of Infrastructure. In order for a student to be eligible for free bus travel, they must satisfy the following points:
There are some minor exceptions to these rules, with particular reference to year 11 and 12 students. For example, a student who was ineligible in years 7-10 because they lived near (for example) Irymple Secondary College will be eligible for free travel in year 11 and 12, because Red Cliffs is their nearest VCE providing school (VCE not being available at Irymple).
To apply for free travel, a form needs to be completed and given to the Assistant Principal, Red Cliffs Secondary College before travel commences. For Contract Services, a form needs to be completed and given to the Assistant Principal before travel commences. For Public Bus Services, a Conveyance Card will be issued, which must be shown to the driver when entering the bus. The card is the property of CDC Mildura. Students who are not eligible for a Conveyance Card will pay the normal CDC Mildura student fare. Conditions for the use of the Conveyance Card (including weekend and holiday use) are printed on the reverse of the card.
If a Conveyance Card is lost, a replacement card is available from CDC Mildura for $10.00.
Bus application for travel forms are available from the College office or the drivers on the Carwarp, Colignan and Nangiloc contract bus services.
