Things in My Control

Things I Can and Things I Can’t Control: I came across this image recently and thought it might useful to share. In everything we do, there are things we can and cannot control. You might like to discuss this as a family. A major theme for me that runs through this is resilience and how we cannot worry about those things out of our control – an important lesson for all of us (not just students) in our daily lives.

Christmas Roller Rink

Piazza Italia also gets a Christmas makeover with colourful decorations and light-up bell swings – the perfect place for a festive picnic sampling Lygon Street's famous fare.

This is a Christmas Festival event, presented by City of Melbourne with support from the Victorian Government.

Fee applies for skate and helmet hire.

The Wind in the Willows

Join Ratty, Mole, Badger, Otter, Portly, and, of course, Mr Toad as they bring Kenneth Grahame’s immortal story of life on the riverbank to the stage.

This critically acclaimed outdoor theatre production delivers music, songs and laughs for the whole family. As the Head Chief Rabbit transforms the audience into rabbits with a waggle of the ears and a wiggle of the nose, the young ‘rabbits’ are encouraged to get involved in the action and are given every opportunity to scream out loud, sing along and become part of the adventure.

With plenty of laughs and surprises along the way, this is interactive theatre at its best.
