Term 1 Maths Club

Maths Club has been a huge success with our students and families in previous years and we are continuing it in 2024.

In Term 1, we are inviting students in Years 3 & 5 to join the Maths Club. 

Maths Club will be available for all other year groups throughout the year and will be communicated at a later date.

Maths Club will start in Week 3 (Monday 12th February) and will be held each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:20 – 8:50 am, finishing on Friday, Week 8, Term 1 ( 22nd March).

By joining the Math Club, Newlands Primary School expects families to support their children by ensuring:

• Students attend Maths Club regularly (at least two times per week)
• Complete up to 3 hours of Essential Assessment activities each week
• Parents and Carers support their child’s learning at home when required.

If your child is in Years 3 or 5 and interested in attending Maths Club in Term 1, 2024, please complete the activity permission form on Sentral by Thursday 8th February. 

Places are limited to 50 students. Once Sentral receives 50 permission slips, it will be locked.
