Year 9 students are invited to this hands on workshop, where you will design and produce your own branded logo sticker.Students from the University of Newcastle will be visiting your school in Term 3 to guide you through the process and ask you to consider:How can a logo make us like (or dislike) a business? How can using particular fonts or shapes in our design impact our audience's behaviour? Will changing the design of my logo really effect the success of my brand?

Year 10 are invited to the Central Coast Ourimbah Campus to get a taste of what it's like to be a Food Science and HumanNutrition student! You will see 4 different activities across the day, and get to meet food science students, PhD candidates, teachers and researchers! You can learn about careers as a food chemist, flavourist, food technologist, research scientist or even small business owner! This day is open to interested students. You do not need to be in a food tech or hospitality class to attend. You will need to see Mrs Tilden in the careers office as spaces are limited.

UNI STEPS is offering Year 7 students the opportunity to take part in a fun, interactive workshop to learn about how sport can be adapted so that everyone can be involved.Students will experience some of the sports that our Australian Paralympic Athletes will be competing in:* Goal Ball* Newcombe Ball* Shot Put

How much do youreally know abouthow videos are madeand monetised?Join us for an interactive workshop exploringthe ways in which we can investigate themedia we consume every day.Using ipads, students will analyse contentfrom million dollar players like MrBeast tosome of their favorite online creators.Students will then explore media studiestechniques with teaching staff from theUniversity of Newcastle, to hone the skillsneeded to take charge of their own mediaconsumption.
