Year 5 Coding Incursion

On the 6th of December, the Year 5s had a 1 and a half hour long coding incursion. We had activities like using robots and controlling them with an IPod, using algorithms to complete tasks, and trying to find the code by reading binary code to unlock a treasure chest filled with code master stickers. We were allowed to take one each. Dan, the We learnt that the number 0 in binary code is off, and the number 1 is 1,2,4,8 and doubles up.

The instructor's name was Dan, and he taught us about how binary code works.
