ResourceSmart Schools Annual Report 2023
ResourceSmart Schools is a Victorian Government initiative that helps Aitken College embed sustainability in our curriculum, our campus operations and in our community. Our school is taking action to minimise waste, save energy and water, promote biodiversity and reduce our greenhouse gas emissions.
Since starting our schools ResourceSmart Journey in January 2008 our school has achieved the following:

Compared to our baseline year, our school has saved a total of $791,953.59 across all resources.
Aitken College achieved many of its sustainability goals in 2023, including becoming a 5 star ResourceSmart School and we look forward to seeing what we can accomplish in 2024.
