Welcome back for another school year! We hope all our students and families enjoyed some relaxing time together over the holidays. 

IN OUR CLASSROOMS

It has been a busy few weeks back, and it's been great to see students so focused and ready to learn. Our learning focus over the last few weeks:

Reading: finding the main idea in texts and answering literal and implied questions. 

Writing: ordering our ideas into paragraphs and using sensory details to enhance our work.

Numeracy: breaking down worded questions and building our understanding of column addition involving carrying.

Humanities: learning about Bushranger's such as Ben Hall and Ned Kelly and the impact they had on Australian History.
