Indigenous Literacy Day

On Wednesday, 4th September our students celebrated Indigenous Literacy Day.

We did a number of activities and watched a 15 minute film which took viewers into three Aboriginal Communities to learn about their unique stories, languages and cultures.

The painted plaques will be added to our Positive Plaque Project.

Igniting Ambitions Day excursion

Congratulations to our year 7 & 8 students who attended the Igniting Ambitions Day excursion on Friday 6th September. A day of empowering young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

Students participated in a variety of STEM related activities ran by Monash University and The University of Melbourne.

We were treated to a yummy lunch and students won lots of awesome prizes.

A great day was had by all!
