Kitchen Garden Update
Term 4 in the Kitchen/Garden
We are still exploring innovative ways to continue cooking during kitchen garden sessions while our dining room is out of use.
At the end of last term 3/4J and E made burritos on the BBQ and 3/4G and E created their own fruit kebabs.
The alternate classes will get a chance to try the recipes this term.
Even though we aren’t in the kitchen we still need help cooking and maintaining the garden, turning compost and looking after the chooks. We need to sow seeds and plant seedlings, so we have produce for next year.

Or contact Chantel and Allison.
We are also seeking for helpers to look after the chickens during the term. Each Tuesday, Thursday (before or after school) and Saturday, we require help to check in on the chooks, top up feed, water and clean out their poop.
You get to take home and enjoy 6 fresh eggs!
Thank you so much to the helpers who signed up over the holidays.
The girls have been happily laying and enjoyed seeing all the students return to school this week. Please sign up here https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60B094BABA62EA3F85-51588003-term
All instructions are included in the sign up link but please join Allison before school (8.40-8.55am) or after school (3.30-3.45pm) this Thursday 10th October for a brief intro into looking after them and how to access the coop.
