Paper Bird Registry – Thank you!

The Parents’ Association would like to thank everyone who purchased books from the Paper Bird registry. We have many generous families at Syndal South, with some parents buying multiple books for us.

The new library now has 116 beautiful new books for its shelves. Every book purchased has a book plate sticker in the front so you can see who has donated it to the school. The books were all chosen by Mrs Inger Robinson (our librarian) and Mrs Clare Searle (Grade 1 teacher) and it’s a fantastic collection. There are books for all ages and interests.

If you would like to see the fabulous new books, and maybe find the one(s) you purchased, they will be on display in the library today after school.

And while you are in the library, look up at the lorikeet decorations on the walls. These were donated by the Parents’ Association.

Gaga Ball Pit

The Parents’ Association was very pleased to be able to donate money towards the new Gaga Ball pit, near the BER. Thank you to Scott and Jarrod who organised the purchase and installation. I know the students are loving it.

Spoil the Staff Day – Wednesday 23rd October

Every year, the Parents’ Association say thank you to all the wonderful staff at Syndal South Primary School by having a “Spoil the Staff Day”. We think the best time to hold it is the day after the school concerts, when everyone is over the excitement and in need a bit of a “pick me up”.

If you would like to help with serving tea and coffee, putting out decorations, or washing up, then please sign up at volunteersignup.org/RET4X.

It’s a lovely day for the staff and you will feel very appreciated.
