Farewell Class of 2024
A wrap-up of Year 12's last week
The last week of Term was Year 12's last week of their official schooling. We had a great week celebrating them with a variety of events and activities. Congratulations Year 12! We will be praying for you as you complete your HSC and enter the next phase of your life. We can't wait to see where the road takes you. God bless you all!
On Monday, Staff and Year 12 students went head-to-head in a 'friendly' basketball match. The staff team showcased their impressive skills, keeping the Year 12s on their toes. Despite a strong effort and some standout teamwork from the students, the staff ultimately secured a solid 25-14 victory.
A big thank you to everyone who cheered from the sidelines and to Mrs Huisman, Mrs Tallon, Mrs Shepherd, the Maintenance team and all the students and staff who assisted with the BBQ. Your support made the event a great success!
On Tuesday, Year 12 prepared a lovely morning tea to show their appreciation of NCS Staff. The delicious pancakes and berries went down a treat and staff felt very much appreciated. Thank you Year 12!
On Wednesday, after spending the morning serving our local community preparing meals for Salt Ministries, Year 12 joined with Year 11 for an afternoon of fun activities.
There was bungy basketball and boxing, archery tag and fairy floss, along with a number of other outdoor games. Everyone had a great time!
Thanks to Mrs Ellery for organising the day!
Year 12's exciting last week culminated on Thursday with both the Graduation Assembly and the Graduation Dinner.
Years 2-12, along with many families and friends gathered for the Year 12 Graduation Assembly. It was a wonderful celebration of the students' 13 year school journey.
In the evening, Year 12, their parents, carers and staff celebrated again at their Graduation Dinner held at the Stableford Function Centre, Worrigee Sports. There was even a surprise arrival of two students by tractor!
