Principal's Update
At Dundas Public School we do our best always
As we wind down the last week of Term 3, I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank our students, staff and families for working together to ensure it has been a success. We have had a busy term with many wonderful events and many more planned for next term. Be sure to follow our Facebook page for news on the exciting events happening at our school and updates of upcoming activities.
Due to the rain and cold weather, the Big Show Colour Fun Run was postponed ensuring the safety and enjoyment of everyone involved.
The new date for the event is Thursday, 17th October, which falls in Week 1 of Term 4.
We’re looking forward to having a great time together then!
Mr. Yee has successfully secured the Principal position at Rydalmere PS. The Dundas PS community know of his dedication, commitment, and care for all students. His professionalism, outstanding teaching, and deep curriculum knowledge will be greatly missed.
I know everyone will join me in wishing him every success at his new school. On behalf of the staff, I want to express our heartfelt thanks for everything Mr. Yee has done for our students and school. His leadership and unwavering support have been truly invaluable. He will always remain a cherished member of the Dundas PS family. Wishing you all the best, Mr. Yee!
We are still accepting online enrolments for Kindergarten 2025. Your child can start Kindergarten at the beginning of the school year if they turn five on or before 31 July in that year. By law, all children must be enrolled in school by their sixth birthday.
How to Enrol
If you are an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident and live within our designated intake area, you are eligible to complete the online enrolment application. You will then need to finalise the application at the school.
Click here to access School Finder and check that your address is in our catchment.
Parents will be asked to complete the 100-point residential address check to confirm they live within the school’s designated intake area.

We look forward to meeting you and your child very soon!
Have a wonderful holiday break. Whatever the break looks like for your family we hope you have a safe holiday period and enjoy that special time with your children at home. We look forward to seeing all of our students back safe and sound on Monday 14th October, 2024 ready for term 4.
Warm regards,
