Thank You to Bradley Stringer and Kara Bogicevic

A very warm thank you to Bradley Stringer and Kara Bogicevic for their leadership and guidance over the past two weeks while our Principal Class members were in Japan. Their dedication and steady support ensured that the school continued to run smoothly in our absence and we are grateful for their commitment to our staff, students and community.

Teaching Excellence Program and Inspire Leadership Program 2025

Teaching Excellence Program

Our school values the learning and development of our staff and the positive impact this has on student outcomes and school improvement.

We are proud to share that Sarah Haig has continued her professional learning journey through the Teaching Excellence Program at the Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership. This program enables teachers to advance their capabilities and excellence in teaching.

So far this year, Sarah has participated in 3 discipline days and 3 Teaching Excellence Community Learning days. She has also completed a teacher inquiry project where she focused in on a particular teaching practice to improve the outcomes for students in their class. Currently, they are completing another inquiry to strengthen their teaching practice even further.

We have enjoyed the learnings that Sarah has brought from the program and look forward to seeing how they work to continue to support student outcomes and wellbeing at our school.

We are proud that we have Sarah representing our school and supporting the Academy in raising the status of this amazing profession!

Inspire Leadership Program

We are delighted to share that Mrs Holly Torcasio has just completed her 2025 year-long participation in the Inspire Program—a course dedicated to developing the leaders of tomorrow. This valuable experience has equipped Holly with skills and insights that will serve her well as she continues her journey toward becoming a future leader in any school setting. Holly has expressed her appreciation at being offered such an opportunity and has developed relationships with other like minded leaders in the network. Congratulations, Holly, on this significant achievement!

A heartfelt thank you to Teizo Kato for his meticulous planning and organization. Every detail was carefully thought out, making the tour both smooth and enriching. It simply would not have been possible without him.

Reintroducing the Parenting Toolbox

In response to recent needs within our community, we are reintroducing the Parenting Toolbox. This resource provides practical, easy-to-follow guides on a range of parenting challenges. From behaviour to communication strategies, the Toolbox offers valuable support for families. It will be available again from Term 4.

Looking ahead to Term 4

Term 4 is traditionally a little longer than others. This year we will have an 11 week term bringing both opportunities and challenges. As we head into the holidays, we wish all our families a safe, happy break filled with activities that go beyond the screen. Whether it’s time outdoors, adventures with family, or simply relaxing, we hope you return refreshed and ready for an exciting Term 4.

Thank you for your ongoing support and involvement in our school community.
