Science

Term 3 has been a wonderful term in Science with students focusing on our topic, Biology: Exploring Plants and Animals.
A highlight of the term has been observing our grass heads growth as well as our class bean plants – there is almost something magical about witnessing growth and change, which was evident in the joyful reactions of our students as they entered the science room each week!
Over the past few weeks we have been explored animal and plant adaptations to aid survival, animal groups/classification, the needs and interdependence of living things, completed a review of our key learning from the term and spent time researching our projects. Students in grade 3-6 have chosen a living thing of their own choice (plant or animal) to investigate independently whilst students in grade F-2 are working in small groups to complete their projects. Looking forward to students completing these projects early next term in Science and presenting their final projects to their class, where we will all no doubt learn some interesting new facts!
Well done students on a fantastic term of learning in Science! Looking forward to our new topic, Chemistry, in term 4.
