Grade 6 News

It has been a busy and exciting time in Grade 6!

We are well on our way with our class novel Can You See Me, a touching story about an autistic girl that is helping us explore themes of empathy, understanding, and acceptance. The students are enjoying getting to know the characters and discussing the important messages the book shares.

We are also looking forward to a special event with our Prep buddies – the Teddy Bears’ Picnic

This will take place on Wednesday in Week 9, and students are welcome to bring along their favourite teddy bear to share in the fun. It promises to be a wonderful opportunity for the Grade 6 students to connect with and mentor their younger buddies.

In Mathematics, our focus has been on angles

Students are learning to identify, measure, and classify angles, as well as apply their understanding to real-life problems. It has been great to see their confidence grow as they tackle new concepts and put their learning into practice.

We are looking forward to our break and returning to our busy final term of Primary School after the holidays!
