Grade 4 News

It has been another exciting fortnight in Year 4 as we head into the final weeks of term!
In Literacy, we are thoroughly enjoying our class novel The Wild Robot and following Roz on her adventures. We have also been working hard on persuasive writing—parents and carers, be warned, your children are becoming very skilled at using clever persuasion techniques!
In Mathematics, we are learning about decimals and building on our understanding of fractions.
In History, we continue to explore the effects of European colonisation on First Nations Peoples.
In Religion, our Praise unit is helping us reflect on God’s presence in creation and our responsibility to care for the world.
A big congratulations to all Year 4 students for their wonderful behaviour and effort at Athletics Day. We are very proud of the way everyone represented our school!
As we move into the final week of term, we look forward to wrapping up our learning, reflecting on our achievements, and celebrating a great term together.
