Father's Day Mass
Thank you to all our children, their Dads and families for joining us on Saturday evening Mass for what was a lovely occasion.
All Father's received a small gift and were given a special blessing.
The children sang like angels and the Parishoners loved it too.
Special thank you to Ms Sonego our Religious Education Coordinator for inviting our Dads and preparing such a beautiful celebration for us all.
Thank you Fr James for being so welcoming. I have included the special blessing for Fathers that Fr James shared with us.
Prayer for Fathers on Father’s Day
Heavenly Father, you entrusted your Son Jesus, the child of Mary, to the care of Joseph, his foster father.
Bless all fathers and grandfathers as they care for their families.
Give them strength and wisdom, tenderness and patience, give them ability to love in a way that reflects your love.
Support them in the work they have to do, protecting those who look to them, as we look to you for love and salvation. Help us to love them in a way that would bring honour to You and them.
Grant an eternal rest to our fathers you have called from this life to yourself, through Jesus Christ Lord. Amen
Parish News
On Friday 12th September 9:30am, Stage 2 & Stage 3 will celebrate with Fr James and our parish Our Lady of La Salette. This is an important mass to celebrate as this is Fr James' order. Their mission focuses on reconciliation and renewal by encouraging people to live the evangelical counsels of poverty, chastity, and obedience, and by promoting prayer, penance, and the observance of Sundays.

What a wonderful morning tea at Parrots Nest last Friday.
Our next dinner will be at the Courtyard Cafe on Thursday night,18th September at 6-6.30 pm.
Amanda has kindly offered to open and has given us a set menu. When you reply please add which meal you would like:
Menu
1 Grilled salmon with hollandaise sauce.
2 Rump steak/gravy.
3 Chicken schnitzel/gravy.
All 3 meals above will be served with chips and salad.
4 White wine and mushroom pasta with garlic bread.
Also includes alternate sweets and tea or coffee - $30.
BYO wine, soft drinks are available at the venue.
