Our P&F Debutante Ball - Friday Evening 26th Sept.
Our bi annual fundraiser is fast approaching!
Mrs Rose has spent hours in the background on organisational aspects of our Ball and we thank her sincerely for her work. Mrs Rose and Mrs Hill have been attending the dancing lessons each week to practise the etiquette for the evening. Kat Davis has worked hard to teach our Debutante's and their partners how to do the chosen dance and they are looking amazing!
We have sent out a 'Can you help?' to our families for Friday morning from 9.00am - 11.00am to help Mrs Smith, Mrs Cunningham and Mrs Vella with the table decorations and we have had a great response already - thank you! Please let Netty know if you can help because everything we do for our Ball will also help our children.
Dads will be our next call out please, as we need utes to pick up and return tables and chairs etc. the week of the Ball.
Ironing table cloths at the Showground Pavilion is another way to be involved. All table cloths are ironed once the tables are in place to ensure our Ball looks perfect!
The photo below is an example of early stages of our last Ball so you will see how much work is required!
Please see 'School News' section for further information.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Pink Mufti Day tomorrow, Thursday - 11th September.
Children are encouraged to wear pink this Thursday to support the McGrath Foundation and our local Cricket Association in their fundraising efforts. Sadly this is a cause that many families are touched by.
Ideas to choose from: Pink ribbons, pink socks, pink shirts, pink joggers, pink hats, pink hair!
All shirts must have shoulders and midriff covered, and all shoes must be enclosed please.
We need a gold coin donation to wear these items!
