Year 5 Imagination Walk Excursion

On Friday 5 September, the Year 5 students caught the train to the city for our Imagination Walk Excursion. We met at 9am on the platform at Lalor Station before catching the train to Flinders Street Station. When we got there, we all had a snack before starting our activities.
The first place 5AT went was ACMI. We were all given a memory disc that we could use to save images and videos. There were so many cool things to see and do at ACMI, like a car that was painted two different colours. One side was black and the other was white. Next we went to watch a play. It was a good play and the people acting in it had disabilities.
After the play, the last thing we did was the Imagination Walk. The leader’s name was Blythe. She taught us so many things and told us so many stories. One of the things we did with Blythe was sitting on the footpath in the city to experience what it would be like to experience homelessness.
