Deaf Hub Student of the Term
Congratulations to Alexis who has been recognised by all the teachers in the Hub as a deserving recipient of our Deaf Hub Student of the Term for Term 3.
Alexis consistently demonstrates all of our school values, but in particular we would like to highlight her persistence and responsibility this term. She has taken on two extracurricular projects (Tournament of the Minds and State School Spectacular) and applied herself to not only both of these tasks, but sustained the same level of commitment to her academic work.

*We have cancelled our 2nd session for Term 4 due to a 2026 Prep Transition that will be running at the same time.
Our playgroup sessions have been a wonderful success this term, and it has been inspiring to watch our existing Deaf Hub students shine as role models for the younger children. A special thank you to our Grade 5 students who were very excited to lead our latest session.
I watched on with great pride as they demonstrated our school values of responsibility, kindness, persistence, and respect in every interaction. From coming up with creative ways to engage and entertain the playgroup children to showing genuine care and patience, their leadership has been outstanding.
We are incredibly proud of the initiative they have shown and the positive example they continue to set for our community.
