A Message from the Principal
Mrs Pauline Long
Dear Parents and Carers,
Yesterday we had our annual Times Tables and Number Facts Challenge for our Primary students 3-6. This is an important event as it helps students build a strong foundation for future maths lessons and it is a skill used in everyday life for: shopping, budgeting, cooking, in hobbies such as gardening and even in sport for scoring & calculating averages! Mastering times tables give students a sense of accomplishment and a more positive attitude towards Mathematics.
Congratulations to our grade winners and to the students selected by their teachers for an encouragement award. It was wonderful to see the improvement especially in our Year 6 students. I was really impressed with how well they answered the challenges.
Students may wear mufti this Friday to celebrate the end of a successful term. No cost involved; just come to school in play clothes and have a wonderful day!
Have a great holiday with your children. School resumes for students on Tuesday 14th October.
