We have concluded the fixture for 2025 in after school netball. To the teams effort we finished on top, undefeated with one tie. This means we are off to the finals which start tomorrow night against St Francis Xavier. A win will see us move to the Grand Final next week, loss and we are out.

Creswick put up a huge fight early, they were really competitive, testing us on every line. They moved the ball well and made us work hard, but to the girls effort and determination, our last half was magnificent and we ran over the top of them.

Last week was a very, very intense game. We found ourselves down at quarter time and half time. Lumen came out fast and wanted to move the ball quickly. They defended well which led us giving away many multiple hold balls. To the girls credit, they chipped away and the deficit, 4 goals down at one stage, and coming into the last, we were only 1 goal down. The ball was going back and forth in the last. Literally on the last play, on the last throw, with 0.5 seconds to go, Baylee shot the goal to tie the game. Everyone was on their feet and a quite large crowd gathered around to see the close finish. I dare say we will meet them again in 2 weeks time in the Final. Huge thank you to Ruby P for filling in.
