Friday School Assembly
Each Friday, different classes will take turns in leading Friday assembly. Classes will also be sharing what has been happening in their class.
Last Friday, students from Mur Murra shared what they have been learning in class. The students shared where their favourite place is in Bendigo.
Last Wednesday, an enthusiastic group of Year 4, 5, and 6 students represented our school in the Division Netball Competition held in the Bendigo area.
Our team participated in the Year 5/6 division, playing a total of seven games against other schools in the region. The primary goal was to enjoy the day, and the team certainly achieved that. They displayed exceptional sportsmanship, executed impressive passages of play, scored some remarkable goals, and maintained steady defence throughout the competition.
A special commendation goes to our Year 4 students who stepped up to compete against older peers without showing any signs of intimidation. Their confidence and determination were truly commendable.
The team's efforts culminated in two wins, one draw, and four losses. Regardless of the outcomes, the experience was invaluable, and the players should be proud of their performance.
A heartfelt thank you to Co-Coach Cooper for their unwavering support and guidance throughout the day. Well done, girls – top effort!
Teachers are looking forward to seeing all families for Learning Conversations on Thursday.
For those Grade 3 and 5 students who completed NAPLAN, the results will be shared with families during the Learning Conversation interview.
