FIRE Carrier Commissioning Ceremony

Congratulations to the Gr 5/6 students and staff who last week were Commissioned to be FIRE Carriers. A big thank you to Mr Wilkinson and Madi for the fantastic organisation, which included bacon and egg rolls for breakfast. Tanika Thornton from Catholic Education Sandhurst Limited had visited a number of times prior to the ceremony to discuss and teach the students what it means to be a FIRE Carrier. It was also wonderful to see Stephen Korp and Renae McCaig from Catherine McAuley College be present for the ceremony and to talk with the Grade 6 students. 

During the ceremony, the first ever Deadly Awards were presented. 

Opening the Doors Fundraiser

Last Friday we had a casual clothes day to raise money for the Opening the Doors Foundation. As a school we raise $142. Thank you to everyone who contributed.
